During the time our house is closed due to social distancing measures, we are offering support via the telephone or online. As time goes on, we aim to increase the different types of support we can offer online and updates will be added to the website as well as Facebook, to encourage people to protect their emotional health by limiting the time on social media.
Our volunteers are available to talk to Mon to Fri between 10am & 11.30am. If you want to make contact outside those hours for any reason, email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and number and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
Summer Group Activities on Zoom Video Calling
*Jonathan's Simple Energising Yoga at 10am: Tuesday 21st & 28th July; 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th August 10am.
A Simple mat based yoga class to re- energise the body through movement and breath.
* Ginny's Online Meditation at 11am: Wednesday 22nd & 29th July; 5th, 12th, 19, 26th August.
Quiet time, focused on sound and colour to encourage relaxation.
* Karen's Chair Yoga at 12noon: Thursday 23rd & 30th July; 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th August.
This gentle exercise is suitable for everyone and will also help your mental health during this challending time.

Gentle and uplifting exercise, focussed on supported movement and relaxation.

Instructions to connect to zoom the first time:
The good thing about Zoom is that it creates a sense of community. It is not just watching a video. We can choose to relate to each other almost as well as if we were in the room together.
It's not necessary to create a Zoom account——if you have never used Zoom before, 15 minutes before we start, just click on the link, there will be a prompt to download the Zoom launcher (very quick depending on the speed of your gadget), and that will give you access to our online gathering.
It's a better experience on a computer or tablet but a smart phone will work.
